Destiné à la Licence 3 et au Master 1, l’ouvrage étudie les tribus et mesures, les fonctions mesurables, les modes de convergence, l’intégrale de Lebesgue, les mesures produits et les théorèmes de Fubini-Tonelli. Il aborde ensuite les espaces Lp, les inégalités de Young, Hölder et Minkowski, la complétude, la densité, la convolution, la régularisation et la structure hilbertienne de L2. Le cours comprend 32 exemples guidés, 127 exercices progressifs sur cinq niveaux et leurs corrigés détaillés.

Beyond Riemann presents, in six chapters, the fundamental tools of measure theory and Lebesgue integration. Intended for third-year undergraduate and first-year Master’s students, the book covers sigma-algebras and measures, measurable functions, modes of convergence, the Lebesgue integral, product measures, and the Fubini–Tonelli theorems. It then introduces Lp spaces, the inequalities of Young, Hölder, and Minkowski, completeness, density, convolution, regularisation, and the Hilbert-space structure of L2. The course includes 32 guided examples, 127 progressive exercises organised into five levels, and detailed solutions to all exercises, providing a structured transition from undergraduate measure theory to more advanced analysis. livre
