الملخص

This book explores the intersection of biophotonics, blood optics, and artificial intelligence. It first explains blood composition, physiological functions, and key optical properties, including refractive index, absorption, and scattering. These properties are essential for understanding light–blood interactions and improving non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The book then introduces major artificial intelligence methods, particularly Artificial Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and the Dragonfly Algorithm. It demonstrates how these techniques can model complex nonlinear relationships and predict blood optical properties under different physiological conditions. Particular attention is given to Dragonfly Algorithm-optimized Support Vector Machines, which improve parameter selection and predictive performance. By combining physical theory, experimental knowledge, computational modeling, and model validation, the book provides an interdisciplinary framework for researchers, students, engineers, physicists, and healthcare professionals interested in biomedical optics and intelligent healthcare technologies.
