Publication Ethics and Editorial Integrity Policy

These principles govern the integrity and transparency of SARAHMED Éditions publications, from submission through distribution, in French and Arabic.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must submit original work and clearly identify content, data or wording drawn from other sources. Any quotation, reproduction or adaptation must be appropriately attributed.

Author and Co-author Responsibilities

Individuals named as authors or co-authors must have contributed to the work and accept responsibility for the submitted version. Contributions and the order of authors must be communicated transparently.

Types of Assessment and Transparency

The assessment process depends on the nature of the book: editorial assessment, scientific review, educational review or literary editorial assessment. The type of assessment actually carried out is stated separately; the presence of a DOI does not demonstrate that a scientific review has taken place.

Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Any use of artificial intelligence tools that contributed to the submitted content must be disclosed transparently. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and rights associated with the text.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors and individuals involved in the assessment process are asked to disclose any interest that could influence their contribution or evaluation of the manuscript.

Accuracy of References

Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy and relevance of the references, citations and bibliographic data supplied with their manuscript.

Copyright and Permissions

Authors must respect copyright and obtain the necessary permissions for any text, images, tables, figures or other third-party content used in their work.

Corrections, Withdrawals and Retractions

Any significant error or issue brought to the attention of SARAHMED Éditions is reviewed to determine the appropriate editorial action, including metadata updates or, where warranted, withdrawal or retraction.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts and non-public information shared during assessment are treated confidentially by those who have access to them as part of the editorial process.

Anyone wishing to report an integrity concern or request the correction of information may contact SARAHMED Éditions, clearly identifying the publication and the element concerned.
